Some may despise the chaos that is millions of people tweeting at the same time, with verying levels of kindness and decency, truth and bullshit. However, there is a discipline in the serious use of Twitter to craft the 140-character version of what we want to say OR to link to a story in the press or on a website. It is a fantastic way of saying 'Oyez, oyez, here is the news' or 'this is the essence of it'.
